Case work

Casework at the student union means that student liaison officers offer support and advice to individual students who encounter problems or questions related to their education. This can range from questions about the marking of exams to support if you have been mistreated by another student or teacher during your course.

The student liaison officers are experienced in providing guidance in these cases and ensuring that students' rights and best interests are taken into account. They often work closely with other functions within the university - such as study counselors, program directors, and department heads - to ensure that students receive adequate support and information.

Casework is an important part of the student union’s overall goal of ensuring a fair and high-quality education for all students. By offering individualized help, the student union strengthens students' ability to deal with the challenges that may arise during their studies.
